What To Expect / FAQ

Before your massage

  • Hydration: Drink water throughout the day, but avoid excessive fluids within one hour of your session so you can relax without needing to interrupt your massage.

  • What to wear: During your massage, you will be fully covered at all times, and only the area being worked on will be exposed. Your privacy and comfort are always our priority. Please arrive in loose-fitting, comfortable underwear.

  • Pain relievers: We recommend avoiding strong pain relievers for 12 hours before your appointment. Being able to feel and communicate areas of discomfort helps us adjust pressure appropriately and provide the safest, most effective treatment.

During your massage

  • Communication: Your therapist will check in about pressure, comfort, and focus areas. Please let us know if anything feels uncomfortable or if you’d like adjustments at any time.

After your massage

  • Take a light walk to support circulation.

  • Drinking plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

  • Avoiding sugar for the rest of the day, as sugar can increase inflammation and reduce the therapeutic effects of the massage.
